CHILDCARE

Many low-wage working families cannot afford childcare. Monthly childcare expenses typically exceed the monthly cost of rent for many families. Therefore, a large a percent of low-income families lack the means to provide their kids with quality childcare.

Your WAVE could really make a difference on this issue. Just by volunteering a little time each month, you could help a family get ahead financially. And you could be a great influence in the lives of some children desperate for role models they can look up to. What else could your WAVE do to tackle this issue.
