Overconsumption
Some countries have an abundance of resources while others do not, and maybe sometimes we take that for granted. There are more people in the world than ever before, and the world is using resources resources at a high rate. The world has spent years trying to create everything as cheap and fast as possible. Everything is disposable and designed to be thrown away. Remember the good old days when you had a pair of shoes, and when they got worn down you went to a cobbler and got them fixed back up to their former glory. Now, we just throw way our sneakers and get a new pair. Maybe just because things are cheaper and more affordable doesn’t mean we are better off.
