racism
“The creation of humanity in God’s image is the basis of human dignity and equality, as well as the sanctity of life". (Genesis 9:6)
People think the founding fathers of the United States of America were the first ones to say, “All men are created equal.” But this is not about America or potential global systemic racism. This is about treating everyone the way God asks us to! Why can’t people just get along? That seems to be a very common question we hear. If everyone is created in God’s image than why are so many people divided by the color of their skin? We don’t think anyone should be separated or get different treatment because of the color of their skin. We should be able to see the character of a person 1st; instead of only seeing the color of their skin.
“I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” - Martin Luther King, Jr
